"New" Organ
What do we mean by "new" organ?Due to various experts' appraisals a repair of the current organ would not be a good idea, because of its too confine and complicated design also after intensive overhaul it would remain susceptible to problems and difficult in maintenance. On a long-term basis the most economical perspective therefore is the new technical conception of the instrument. That does not mean however that all parts of the old organ have to be thrown away. The beautiful organ housing and a majority of the existing pipes could be re used in the new construction. That way the appearance of the organ would not change significantly but nevertheless sound and maintenance would be that of a completely new instrument.
Another positive aspect of this kind of the renewal is that the costs would only sum up to about half the prize of a completely new instrument. So the project would be finished substantially faster.
